Looking for a purpose-driven role that you want to get out of bed in the morning for - even on Mondays? The isla team is growing and we're currently recruiting for an exciting new position in our Membership team!

We’re looking for a Membership Sales Manager to grow isla’s membership and oversee renewals.  You’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing inbound membership sales inquiries, converting leads and supporting renewals.

What do we need from you?

We empower our teams to shape their roles to suit the needs of the industry, whilst always staying true to the ambitions of our company, so roles evolve and develop over time, but here’s an overview of what our new Membership Sales Manager will be doing: 

Key Responsibilities:
    • Convert leads into isla membership, leveraging existing pipelines.
    • Identify, execute, and convert opportunities for service provision or products to existing members.
    • Generate New Leads: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to generate new leads for isla memberships, and associated services.
    • Develop strategies to expand the lead pool, ensuring a consistent pipeline for future conversions.
Other Responsibilities, including:
    • Actively participate in industry-related events, conferences, and trade shows to represent isla. Utilise these platforms to establish new contacts, pitch our offerings, and explore collaboration opportunities. Gather insights, learn about industry trends, and engage with peers to enhance industry knowledge.
    • Develop and execute contact strategies in partnership with the marketing team to support campaign and marketing activities aligned with revenue targets.
    • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for service or product improvement.
    • Contribute to membership growth strategies in line with organisational goals. 

 

Experience:

    • We are looking for candidates with prior sales experience, preferably within the events industry or membership sales.
    • A passion for environmental sustainability is essential.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills and confidence in engaging with senior-level individuals.
    • You’ll need to have least 5 years of professional employment experience.
    • Familiarity with events industry segmentation and stakeholder needs is a plus.
    • Experience with HubSpot or other CRMs is highly desirable.

Further details: 
  • Salary: £30,000 p.a + OTE.
  • Position: Full Time 
  • Start Date: April 2024 (or as soon as possible)
  • Holiday: 37 days per year – this includes (flexible) Bank Holidays, our End of Year office close, and a day off for your birthday. 
  • Location: Greater London Area, expectation is to be in the office 2 days per week.
