How to submit

Fill out the form

Be sure to include which of the suggested themes your sessions align with, a detailed outline of the content, and your preferred format (panel, keynote, fireside chat, or other). Submissions should be no longer than 250 words and clearly convey the key ideas and takeaways for the audience.

If we receive multiple submissions that we believe would work well as a panel, we may suggest combining sessions, so please be open to this possibility. We aim to create dynamic and engaging discussions that showcase the best ideas and insights from across the industry.

Submission Themes:

1. Innovation/Ideas

This track focuses on future-thinking innovations that are helping shape the events industry we aspire to create – one that is net zero, zero-waste, inclusive and accessible. We are looking for submissions that showcase:

  • Disruptive technologies or approaches that redefine sustainability in events (e.g., zero-waste innovations, circular economy practices, renewable energy).
  • Problem-solving strategies that address common sustainability challenges (e.g., advanced data capture for carbon tracking, sustainable materials innovation).
  • How innovations can be scaled or adapted by others in the industry to make a broader impact.

Your submission should clearly define the problem your innovation solves, how it works, and its potential to be adopted widely. This is your chance to present future-thinking ideas that can transform the way events are designed and delivered.

2. Green Champions: Celebrating Industry Leaders

This category is dedicated to celebrating Green Champions, those who are making significant strides in transforming the events industry. This can include individuals, small suppliers, organisations, or young professionals who are leading with passion and commitment. Submissions should spotlight:

  • Inspiring journeys of individuals or groups that are setting new standards either within their workplace or within our industry.
  • Success stories and challenges faced by these champions as they implement sustainable practices and bring positive change to their organisations or the wider industry.
  • How these leaders have responded to regulatory changes and evolving expectations in the industry.
  • Their innovative work in areas like systems change, stakeholder engagement, supply chain management, and other critical components of sustainability.

This is an opportunity to celebrate influential voices in the industry and showcase how one person’s dedication and innovation can inspire widespread change.

3. Putting knowledge into practice

This series focuses on practical tools, resources, and tested methods that can be put into practice by the audience within their organisations or at their events. It is about sharing real-world, actionable solutions that have been proven to work. We invite submissions that:

  • Showcase examples of processes or initiatives that have successfully delivered progress within your organisation.
  • Highlight collaborative efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders that contributed to achieving goals and targets.
  • Share templates or resources – these could be checklists, frameworks, guides –  that you have created that have solved common challenges for event businesses.

Submissions should provide attendees with practical tools, templates, and strategies they can take away and implement within their own organisations. We encourage transparency and for you to share both your successes and challenges to foster an open and supportive environment for knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
