The Complete Sustainable Events Course is back!

Last year in partnership with The Meetings Show we launched a 6-week course tailored to those responsible for driving their own sustainability strategy. Now we're ready to upskill more event professionals to deliver more purpose-driven events. Could you be one of them?

Are you an event manager, supplier, freelancer or marketer who wants to get to grips with event sustainability? Well, look no further than The Complete Sustainable Events Course. Kicking off on 26th September, the 6-week online course will explore how to ensure sustainability is the red thread throughout event and meeting planning from objective setting through to post-event carbon measurement.

Last year’s alumni included CNN, The European Venues Forum, Copenhagen Convention Bureau and more.

“I really enjoyed the course – a perfect mix of content and anecdotal stories to bring it to life. It doesn’t matter what level you are at, or stage in your sustainability journey, you can always learn more!”

About the course

Through a combination of theory, tools and practical knowledge, the course will equip you with the skills to be able to plan and report with confidence.

Expect intros, anecdotes and real-life examples from Fyre Festival survivor Andy King on his sustainability journey, plus in-depth learning delivered by our very own, Anna Abdelnoor, isla’s CEO, and a whole host of other sustainability experts.

Plus you’ll get exclusive access to TRACE by isla, the definitive carbon measurement platform for sustainable events, to learn how to master measuring your event carbon footprint.

“Prior to this course I wanted our events to be more sustainable but wasn’t sure how to go about it, however, thanks to these sessions I am now much more aware of what to be looking for and what to be asking suppliers and venues to learn more about their approach and practices.”
